Ninnindays and Ninnindays 2 are a series of visual novels in the romantic simulation (romsim) genre with erotic elements (18+), developed by the Japanese company Qoobrand. The games belong to the niche genre of “dating simulators” and are distinguished by their specific style and concept.
Heroine: Tikage is a naive, disciplined, and slightly clumsy ninja girl who has come to a modern city for the first time.
Plot: The main character finds Tikae freezing on the balcony of his apartment. It turns out that her village sent her on a “survival mission” in the urban jungle to become stronger. The hero decides to take her under his wing for 15 days (hence the title “Days”). During this time, he must help her adapt to the world of phones, supermarkets, and fast food, while also getting closer to her.
Gameplay: A classic romantic simulator with a calendar. Every day, you have to choose how to spend your time: go to work (earn money), go to the store (buy a gift or food), or chat with Tikage. Gifts and the right dialogue increase your intimacy level, which unlocks new events and ultimately leads to one of several endings (both romantic and bad).
Features: A cozy, intimate story with one heroine. Emphasis on Tikage's cute and humorous misunderstanding of the modern world. The visual style is typical of Japanese novels of that time.
Heroine: Sayuki—a more confident, proud, and stubborn kunoichi who considers her mission beneath her dignity.
Plot: The situation repeats itself, but this time the heroine, Sayuki, arrives with a more personal mission related to her status in the clan. She is less enthusiastic about the main character's guardianship and modern life, which creates the dynamic of a “difficult” girl who needs to be melted.
Gameplay: The mechanics are almost identical to the first part: a 15-day cycle, work, shopping, gifts, relationship development. However, the storylines and dialogues have been reworked to suit the character of the new heroine.
Features: Relationships develop differently — from tension to intimacy. The story is a little more dramatic than the first part. The graphics have been slightly improved.
